چکیده

We present a lattice computation of the first moment of the kaon's leading-twist distribution amplitude. We use ensembles with 2+1 dynamical flavours of domain wall fermions and the Iwasaki gauge action from the RBC and UKQCD joint dataset. We observe the expected chiral behaviour and obtain ξ (2 GeV) ≡ 3/5 a 1 K (2 GeV) = 0.032(3), which agrees very well with other results obtained using QCD sum-rules and the recent lattice result from the UKQCD/QCDSF collaboration .

We report on the first large-scale study of two flavor QCD with domain wall fermions (DWF). Simulation has been carried out at three dynamical quark mass values about 1/2, 3/4, and 1 mstrange on 16 3 × 32 volume with Ls = 12 and a −1 ≈ 1.7 GeV. After discussing the details of the simulation, we report on the light hadron spectrum and decay constants.
